NorthCoast Silver Sovereign has been our best grey alpaca produced to date. He is the whole package of gorgeous head, long/tall/elegant body; uniform silver grey coloration; fleece with long staple and high frequency, uniform crimp; excellent fineness (19.8 micron at 2.25 years of age), and a very engaging personality to boot.
His pedigree is interesting as it contains well known grey studs Quicksilver, Shaquille and Silvio; Accoyo studs Leon, El Rey and King; and an incredibly fleeced Ch... |

NorthCoast Silver Sovereign's Silver Bells is a beautiful light silver grey female and is out of NorthCoast bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree.
Her sire is NorthCoast Silver Sovereign, a large and elegant framed male with extremely fine and uiniform medium sulver grey fleece with minimal spotting. His fleece was nice enough, meeting the fineness and uniformity requirements, that Lynn Edens' Back40 group purchased his fleece for commercial processing.
The dam is NorthCoast Silver Solace, another medium silver grey out of a champion grey named McGinnis. She has produced nothing but silver grey crias for us and you can see two of them pictured here.
Here older sister Soliloquy is pictured here as she too is a classic silver grey.
Silver Bells includes a breeding to NorthCoast Crimson King, a rose/silver grey stud out of the McGinnis line. Crimson King is very fine and has excellent brightness and stape length and we believe this is an excellent pari of lines to cross for breeing for fine fleeced classic silver grey offspring. Another option would be NorthCoast Steely Dan, a Silver Grey our of Quatrain.
