NorthCoast Silver Sovereign has been our best grey alpaca produced to date. We named Petey after the dog from the Our Gang television series with whom he shares a spot over one eye.
Petey may be the best fleeces grey male we produced in 2018. With nice lock structure, high frequency crimp, nice brightness, a soft/fine handling fleece, and complete coverage from head to toe, he is an outstanding package.
Petey's dam, Guinevere, is a light fawn female with exceptional fleece quality out of Maple Brook Gia (Royal Fawn x NWA, Ltd Sandy) and NorthCoast Michelangelo's Merlin, a color champion white male. His sire is champion stud, NorthCoast Silver Sovereign.
We are selling Petey as a fiber male (non-breeder).
