| Viper started his breeding career at NorthCoast in the fall of 2017. He is truly a product of his genetics. We bred our top producing female, NorthCoast Mercury's Meribella to Ventura based on their outstanding fleece characteristics. NorthCoast Fancy Pants was a bit of a surprise as she was born an appaloosa spotted alpaca. She is out of one of our top El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo daughters, NorthCoast Jewel of the Nile, and NorthCoast Ventura's Viper, a solid dark fawn. Jewel is one of our heaviest fleece producers with excellent density, staple length and fineness. We have rebred this pair to see if they can do it again. Fancy is a very calm and friendly young female who will likely be somewhat smaller in size judging by the parents and current weight gain. Her fleece is bright white with light brown spots including her "belt" around her waist which is where her name came from (and was suggested by another breeder). Her fleece is highly organized and uniform even now as it is quite short after her cria shearing.
We will raise her until she is ready to leave should an appaloosa breeder decide to purchase her.
